Grafton is growing community that is a short distance to the city of Worcester and accessible by it’s own commuter rail stop for commuters going into Boston. There is also easy access to the Mass Pike and Route 146.
With a long history of Native American inhabitants (Nipmunc Tribe) as well as a strong manufacturing town starting in the Industrial Revolution and continuing through both World Wars. With his history dating back to the Nipmunc Tribe, surprised that the town mascot is the Grafton Indians.
Some of the unique characteristics of Grafton include: Highfields Golf and Country Club , MBTA Commuter Rail Stop, Tufts Veterinary School, and Silver Lake Beach.
