Weekly business highlight!
Many of you know my dog, Pickles. Our favorite spot for him when he isn’t home is Skipton Pet Lodge. You guys, they txt me photos of my dog baby while he is there!
They have an amazing facility with no runs or cages. There
is a fantastic great room with lots of indoor space on those days when no one
wants to go outside! Couches still abound for those afternoon naps as well. You
dog will be treated like one of our own – we don’t charge extra for playtime,
medications, feeding your food to your dog. It’s an all inclusive vacation for
your canine.
They have 24 hours on site supervision with the live-in
manger Jo-Anne who will undoubtedly spoil your pup rotten while you’re away. Jo-Anne
came on board in October 2014 also with many years of experience and a love of
canines – she cofounded Paws New England, an all breed rescue group still in
operation today having saved over 10,000 dogs. She is well-versed in dog
behavior and emergency medical needs of dogs; she has a love of senior dogs and
those dogs with special medical needs.
Their daycare yard is one of the biggest around and is
certainly the best – with shady trees, giant rocks to climb and a huge area to
run in – separated small and large dogs when needed. The doors to outside are
always open if your pup prefers outside but they can come in any time to rest.
And to top it off, they have an amazing groomer, Paula! Drop off your pup and they will come home beautiful, smelling awesome and tired!
